Simon developed this technique for combining sterling silver and 18-carat gold vermeil within the same design. This has been his trademark style for over 25 years. Covering sterling silver with 18-carat gold, he sometimes takes some of the gold off with a combination of burrs. By revealing certain parts of the design Simon creates a two-colour design accentuating certain details: handmade jewellery appealing to lovers of detailed fine work.
