A striking handmade pair of vintage style steering wheel cufflinks in 18ct Gold on Sterling Silver. The discerning car lover will not fail to appreciate such an artistic piece. This design is made in Surrey by Simon Kemp, who is a third generation English jeweller.As always, he uses the combination of precious metals to give the design more depth and detail. The whole piece is cast in solid Sterling Silver and silver soldered for utmost durability. A thick layer of 18ct Gold is then used to highlight any chosen details. -
These charming cufflinks really capture the character of the Corgi . They are effectively miniature sculptures , three dimensional and true to life . The solid design sits well on the cuffs with the two dogs facing each other across the cuffs. The rich 18 ct Gold layer draws the light and highlights all of the detail. These four dragonflies are clearly in a meeting. They are sitting together in perfect symmetry with the wings all touching to create a beautiful design. This unique design was originally commissioned as a cufflink by Stewart Broad's Father , another great English cricketer Chris Broad. Simon has soldered the bat across the stumps and used solid sterling silver and 18 carat gold vermeil to draw out the contrast between the stumps and the bail. The effect is enhanced further with the blade of the bat 18 carat gold vermeil whereas the bat handle is silver. A lot of thought has gone into this design to create a stylish and unusual Cricket pendant for all fans of this great game. An 18 " chain is included although different lengths can be provided. These Roman coin cufflinks are made in sterling silver. This interesting design is taken from an old Roman coin which was found in South West France. Simon Kemp carefully took a mould of the coin and cast it in solid sterling silver. We only use the higher grade triangular swivels for utmost quality. -
