Solid 9 carat Gold cufflinks, representing Vercingetorix, one of Caesar's foes in the Gallic wars, circa 50 BC. This design is taken from an original ancient coin. All our jewellery is handmade in our Surrey workshop by Simon Kemp, a third generation British Jeweller who has been making jewellery since 1990, whose most prestigious Clients include the British Museum and the National Trust of Scotland. These stunning Humming bird cufflinks sit beautifully on a crisp white cuff.Cast in solid 18 carat gold each humming bird is highly detailed with the feathers in the wings and tail clearly defined. The birds face each other across they shirt, two distinct cufflinks designed to enhance any outfit. Green emeralds have been set as the eyes although other gems can be used. This is Simon's original design which he wears with a signet ring of the same Phoenix design. The Phoenix is highly detailed and sits beautifully on the cuff. The design has depth and is very tactile. The lustre of 18 carat gold draws the light highlighting the intricacy of this striking piece of jewellery . Simon chose the oval and chain combination which creates a very classical piece of jewellery , with his initials engraved to personalise the cufflinks. This is a very rare Cufflink. Simon took a mould from a vintage charm to create this unique pair of cufflinks. Cast in solid 18 carat yellow gold the jewellery is fully hallmarked in Birmingham's World famous Jewellery Quarter. 18 carat chain and bar are supplied as the fittings but 18 carat gold swivels or a chain and oval are further options. This solid 9 carat Gold Cricket pendant was designed by Simon many years ago after he spoke to Stewart Broad's Father Chris Broad's partner (!) , ex England opener. It has been selling as a gold and silver cufflink for many years and now it is available as a pendant with an 18 " solid 9 carat gold chain, although different lengths are available . It is 22mm in length by 12 mm width and weighs, without the chain and bail 3 gms. It is fully hallmarked. This is a fabulous present for any fan of the wonderful sport of Cricket.
