Here we have three turtles meeting for a chat. Simon has soldered together the three turtles to make an unusual necklace. Cast in solid sterling silver and fully silver soldered the turtle's shells have been highlighted with the careful application of 18 carat yellow Gold. This necklace has definitely got the wow factor. Three dragons head to head form the focal point of this intricate piece, with an adjustable chain soldered on either side of the tails of two of the dragons.The definition of the wings and feet is very crisp and the wings show gold veins against silver. This is one of Simon's latest designs. Finished in the Summer of 2021 it has proved popular with people who like an unusual and clever design. The three ( wise? ) monkeys are having a chat on the branches. The design is cast in sterling silver and Simon careful applies a 5 micron thick layer of 18 carat yellow gold to highlight the monkeys. This creates a lovely contrast with the branches drawing the light to this striking piece of jewellery. There is a matching pair of monkey earrings to complete the set. Since this is Simon's mould the pendant can be cast in solid 9 carat and 18 carat yellow, white and rose gold , fully hallmarked in Birmingham's World famous Jewellery Quarter.
