A most unusual pair of Cufflinks. Simon has taken an ancient Viking coin, made a mould of it and then cast it in silver. These castings have been turned into a pair of Cufflinks, highly detailed and interesting. Both sides of the coin can be seen since the castings have been soldered on opposite sides. The Cufflinks sit beautifully in the cuff and will appeal to all lovers of History or those of Viking extraction! This stunning ring is really at the very Top of my Collection. The original diamond ring was designed by my late Father , Melville Kemp an Antique Dealer and Jeweller, for my late Mother as an Eternity ring in 18 carat gold. We have made a copy of this design , cast it in 9 carat white gold and replaced the central stone, a 1.8 ct diamond with a beautiful high grade Aquamarine. The six diamond marquises bring the ring to life, three either side of that lovely centrepiece , attracting the light and leading the eye to the central beautiful Aquamarine. This is one of Simon's latest designs. Finished in the Summer of 2021 it has proved popular with people who like an unusual and clever design. The three ( wise? ) monkeys are having a chat on the branches. The design is cast in sterling silver and Simon careful applies a 5 micron thick layer of 18 carat yellow gold to highlight the monkeys. This creates a lovely contrast with the branches drawing the light to this striking piece of jewellery. There is a matching pair of monkey earrings to complete the set. Since this is Simon's mould the pendant can be cast in solid 9 carat and 18 carat yellow, white and rose gold , fully hallmarked in Birmingham's World famous Jewellery Quarter. This design is influenced by William Morris , combining the delicate dragonfly with the rosehips. Simon uses 18 carat gold on the body of the Dragonfly and the Rosehips to draw out the detail and contrast with the sterling silver. An artistic piece of jewellery which will appeal to all lovers of naturally themed jewellery. An 18 " chain is included with the pendant although different lengths are available.
